I was a part of designing a publication comprised of interviews from ColumAlum who specialize in design and illustration across different industries. I had the opportunity to interview Terrell Johnson, known recently for his work as Art Director for Janet Jackson and as the Founder/Creative Director of the publication, SWGRUS.
It Takes Type Exhibition
I created and conceptualized a mock design exhibition on the illustrious graphic designer, Gail Anderson highlighting her design career and some of her work. The design of the exhibition and its accompanying materials take inspiration from her overall style with an exploration of experimental typography.
Afterglow Music Festival
The idea behind conceptualizing this fictional music festival and its accompanying lineup was that I wanted to curate an experience that commemorates and celebrates music. With my designs, I wanted to visualize how the various genres and artists can make anyone in the audience feel when they all come together.
Sony Music Entertainment
spent 3 semesters as an intern at Sony Music Entertainment, where I had the opportunity to design limited-edition merchandise released for Jimi Hendrix’s official store. My designs are from two different "drops" within the I AM EXPERIENCED collection, revolving around Purple Haze and 2023's New Year's Eve.
Twinings Tea Packaging
I aimed to make Twinings Tea’s packaging family more cohesive and uniform, regardless of the product or tea. I
used illustrative motifs and intentional type placement to emphasize my choices for this redesign while leaving the brand’s logo untouched due to the amount of brand equity held within.
