Kawayan


This is a rebranding of a restaurant I’ve passed by one too many times and never quite got that it was a restaurant because of the old branding. I wanted to make sure it was clearer that it was not only just a restaurant, but a Filipino one, and that kawayan meant “bamboo.”

This is a dog food brand built from the ground up focused on fresh food over kibble. I wanted to explore a more minimal style in contrast to the busy, colorful style that we often see
in dog food brands, hence the primarily black-and-white color palette and the illustrative visuals

How To: Draw an Anime Face


This is a publication describing in very basic steps how to draw a face in the style of Japanese cartoons. As a designer and illustrator, I am all too familiar with the frustration that comes with being an amateur, so I wanted to design something visually simple and easy to understand.
